About the role: We're seeking a Physical Therapy Assistant with a strong focus on sports performance, strength, and conditioning to treat our patients like the athletes they are. You'll be working with a diverse range of athletes involved in swimming, rugby, baseball, softball, and various other sports. You'll have the opportunity to assist physical therapists in implementing personalized rehabilitation and strength and conditioning programs, utilizing your expertise in biomechanics, injury rehabilitation, and exercise science. Responsibilities: • Assist Physical Therapists with patient evaluations and treatment plan development. • Guide patients through therapeutic exercises and activities, ensuring proper technique and safety. • Educate patients on injury prevention, rehabilitation techniques, and home exercise programs. • Monitor and document patient progress, adjusting interventions under the supervision of a licensed physical therapist. • Prepare and organize exercise and therapeutic equipment.
