Job Description
University Orthopedics is seeking a dynamic, motivated Physical Therapist to join our Physical Therapy staff.
• The Physical Therapist completes comprehensive examinations to determine body structure and function level impairments, activity limitation and participation restrictions.
• Establishes diagnosis, prognosis and develops an individualized plan of care.
• Implements treatment interventions and performs on-going evaluations through-out episode of care.
• Evaluate patients of various ages with musculoskeletal dysfunction
• Design and discuss appropriate treatment interventions based on findings in evaluation
• Perform necessary documentation to ensure compliance with federal and insurance regulations
• Manage patient progress through therapy
• Provide timely and appropriate billing information for services provided
• Other clinical duties as assigned by PT Department to meet patient needs
• Additional duties as assigned by the Manager to meet department needs
Job Requirements
- Graduate of an accredited physical therapy program
- Licensed or eligible for licensure as a physical therapist in the State of MA & State of RI
- Previous experience in outpatient orthopedics/musculoskeletal rehab preferred
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to maintain confidentiality
- Attention to detail
- Team oriented professional
- Excellent interpersonal and time management skill
- Must be able to travel to all sites if/when necessary
