Orthopedic Physical Therapist or Physical Therapist Assistant | Movement Space Physical Therapy | Bakersfield, CA | Full-Time Movement Space Physical Therapy is growing and is looking for multiple licensed Physical Therapists and Physical Therapist Assistants for orthopedic and pelvic floor treatment. Movement Space is a Bakersfield clinic known for pelvic floor care. Full-time and part-time schedules are available. Candidates who will graduate from a PTA program soon will be considered. Compensation: $37.00-$60.00 per hour, depending on role and experience. Responsibilities: - Provide patient care and carry out treatment plans for orthopedic conditions (PTAs work under the supervision of the physical therapist) - Perform therapeutic exercises and activities - Monitor and document patient progress and report changes to the physical therapist - Educate patients and their families on proper techniques for exercises and activities - Assist with the setup and maintenance of therapy equipment and supplies - Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated patient care Experience: - Anatomy: understanding of the structure and function of the human body - Physiology: familiarity with how the body's systems work together - Medical terminology related to physical therapy Benefits: - 401(k) - Health insurance - Paid time off - Continuing education credits - Flexible schedule Spanish is preferred.
